A lot of leagues in the State of Wisconsin. Look at the Milwaukee Catholic "Blue & Gold" League. They had 110 teams with of 1,200 players. That's roughly how many players that shot at state last year. Wow.

Tyler Wallinger filled in as a sub for the Beautiful Savior Lutheran Dartball Team and got his first hit ever as a dartball player. Tyler mastered this feat back on Tuesday, Feburary 21, 2017, at St. Mark's Lutheran Church. Way to go!

The "Luck of the Draw" Tournament will be held on March 7th at Beauiful Savior Lutheran Church.  Tournament will be held in the gym so park in the south parking lot and come in the school entrance by the playground. Cost is $2.00. Check in is 6:30-6:45pm. Practice is at 6:45pm with a 7:00pm sharp stating time. The school will have a concession table set up with soda, water, coffee, cookies, brownies, chips and popcorn for sale. Tournament should wrap up by 10-10:30pm if all goes according to plan. Help is needed with putting tables, chairs and dartball boards away. Get a count from your team and send a list  of players and averages to Gene Borchardt no late than Friday, March 3rd. Captains have Gene's email address from the dartball schedule. Talk it up with your team and let's have a good turn out. Thanks and see you next Tuesday.

Banquet Coordinator Update – Jeff Brisk
Jeff presented options to of places to hold the banquet
Country Springs, Machine Shed, Saz’s at Western Lakes, and Center Court
It was decided that then banquet would be held at Saz’s at Western Lakes,
The price is the same as the machine shed. $20.64. Each ticket will cost $20 with the
league picking up the .64 cents. Please pay this fee by the March captain meeting.
Each team is going to vote on the items to have for dinner and will report back to Jeff.

Door Prizes for banquet. Each team will provide two $15 gift cards to hand out to all
attendees. Gene to provide tickets to hand out

Luck of the draw tournament. March 7 – Snow date March 14
Gene suggested a tournament format called ‘Luck of the Draw’ Players will draw to
see what team that are on. High Average players will be the ‘Captains’. Each player will
play 8 games. Each game is 3 innings with around 4 – 5 players on a team. Number of
board needed will depend on how many players sign up. Todd and Gene to check
availability of gyms at their churches. Two dollar entry fee.

Trophies:
Engraving needed for on the two traveling trophies – 1st place in each division
New most improved and special awards

Other business:
If make up date is needed because of a snow day, the captain meeting will be on
3/13/17.
Hitting the ceiling with a dart. Most of the time, if you hit the ceiling with a dart, you
are out. Some churches have a low ceiling and will play under ‘House rules’ If the
captain of the home team decides to play under ‘House Rules’, a dart that hits the
ceiling and then hits the board, the dart will still be a live dart. If the dart does not hit
the board, the batter is out.

The schedule is now posted. I will post each week's results so you can see the standings. If the managers could send me their team stats weekly or as often as possible, I can keep our league statistics up to date. Still working out some minor glitches with some coding issues, but then again this is a work in progress. If teams want to send me pictures, I will post them to your team page.
