Fritz Berg

Lives in Milwaukee, WI.

Started playing dartball in 1973 at the age of 18 in the Thursday night 9-man Milwaukee Tavern League. He has played in the Milwaukee Hickory Inn 4-man league for 23 years, typically shooting an average of .500 to .585. He had 2 seasons over .600 through the 2013 season. Fritz has been on 4 class A state championship teams, all with Cruz Trucking in the 1980’s, and won a B championship in 2009 with Oak Manor. He has shot in many tournaments and won the Milwaukee 2 player tournament in 2010 with Tony Klosowski. He has also been a team manager.

Pete Christensen

Lives in Racine, WI.

Began playing Dartball before 1971 while in his 20’s. Played for over 30 years in the Racine Tabor League, the 9-man West Allis Classic League, the Kenosha Tavern League and the Racine Church League. Had a Dartball average over .510 for 30+ years, with his highest season of .579 coming in 1978 in the Racine Tabor League. He won a state championship in 1977 with the AMC Pacers. Pete played in many tournaments and was instrumental in preserving the history of the Racine Tabor League.

Pete Lukaszewski

Lives is Oak Creek, WI.

Started playing in the 1970’s in the Catholic Blue & Gold League. He has also played in the South Side Tavern League, the Hickory Inn 4-man League, and still plays in the Milwaukee Rec. 55+ league. He has had 2 seasons over .600, with a high of .611 in 1984 in the South Side Tavern League. He has been on many division and league champion teams and won a state championship in 1992.

Ron Ford

Lives in Menomonie, WI.

Started playing Dartball at the age of 13 on his Father’s church league team. He has played in the Menomonie 9-man and 4-man leagues, and the Eau Claire Commercial League, and played with his brother for 26 years in the Northwest Dartball Tournament, always finishing 1st or 2nd. 

Ron worked nights and was unable to play full seasons for part of his career.

In 2011, together with his brother & sister, began a fun league at Dean & Sue’s Bar in Menomonie to encourage patrons to play and to teach the game to newcomers. Ron has been on 6 Class A state champion teams: McFadden’s (2 times), H&L Cattle, MBC Sports, and Gerhard’s (2 times). He had many seasons over .500 average, with a high season of .603 in 1985 in the Eau Claire Commercial League. He also had a 21 for 21 night in the church league. 

He has been on many league and tournament champion teams.

Terry Ford

Lives in Menomonie, WI.

Started playing Dartball at age 10 against his dad in the milking house, shooting at a door that his dad painted a playing board on. With his brother and always playing against their dad, they eventually wore the door out so it had to be replaced! Terry started playing league at age 13 on his dad’s church team. He also played in the Menomonie League, the Eau Claire Commercial League, and the Prairie Farm Church League. He bats lead off on almost every team he plays for. He has been the captain of the Olsen’s team and played with his brother for 26 years in the Northwest Dartball Tournament, always finishing 1st or 2nd.  Terry was a team captain in the Menomonie League for 27 years, and President of the league for 17 years. In 2011, with his brother & sister, began a fun league at Dean & Sue’s Bar in Menomonie. Terry has helped many players learn the game and encourages many of the UW-Stout students to play each week. 

He has 5 high league average titles in the Eau Claire Commercial League and has won the single title 8 times. His highest league average came in 2014 when he hit .627 in the Eau Claire Commercial League. Terry has been on 4 class A state champions: H&L Cattle, MBC Sports, and 2 times with Gerhard Plumbing.

Timothy Johnson

Lives in Caledonia, WI.

Started playing Dartball at age 8 in 1969 in the Waukesha Church League. He was part of the league for 9 years, even becoming President of the league at 14 years old. He has also played in many leagues, playing in New Berlin, Muskego, East Troy, Merton, Lannon, and South Milwaukee. He has always averaged between .480 and his high of .595 in 1978 in the New Berlin League. He won many high averages, league championships, and tournaments in his Dartball career. He has been a team captain, and also ran tournaments in New Berlin for many years. He has played in many state tournaments and been on teams that finished 2nd at state 4 times.

Wally Rolly Topper Sr

(Deceased) Lived in Elk Mound, WI.

Started playing Dartball in 1945 at the age of 12 years old for the Town of Howard. He played on multiple church teams. He went on to play in the Eau Claire Commercial League for over 40 years, with at least 25 years over .500, and a high of .578 in 1975. Was known as a premiere triple shooter in the 1950’s and was a team captain and team sponsor for league and tournament teams. He also helped organize tournaments in Eau Claire and Mondovi. His love of the game was passed onto his sons and grandsons.
