Catholic Blue and Gold League
One of the originators, pioneers, and founding members of the game of Dartball in Wisconsin. From West Allis, Wisconsin. He was a member of the Wisconsin State Dartball Commitee from 1951 to mid to late 1970s. Personal accomplishmants, stats, or awards, was difficult to track down, but Steve was playing since the games inception, in Wisconsin, in the late 20s early 30s. He played in the Catholic Blue and Gold League, which is one of the oldest leagues in Wisconsin. He would also hold games, small tournaments, or League at the Pabst Brewery where he worked. Alongside his friends, Joe Hutsteiner Jr and Ernie Dorow, The boys of West Allis, Wisconsin; helped regulate and colltivate the game of Dartball as we know today. He was a contributer to the design and shape of the stands used for the boards made back then by HOLMS MFG. CO. out of Ripon, WI.
He worked for Pabst Brewery for 37 years and worked part time at the Railroad Express Company for 10 years. Very active in his community, Steve was a "Block Warden" in his neighborhood during World War 2. Loving Husband to Norine (Gaulrapp) and Father to Delores A. (May) and Patricia K. (Lucas). He attended St. Sebastian Catholic Church in Milwaukee, WI.
Steve passed away on January 28th, 1993 at the age of 85.
