Kenosha Summer League

Dennis started playing Dartball at the age of 25 in Kenosha for Benny Placito's in 1984 after being introduced to the game by a friend. His average his first year was .495 in the Thursday night 7 man league. He started playing 2 nights a week in 1993, joining the Tuesday night 4 man league. His averages in the Tuesday league have always been .536 or higher (over 23 years). In 2017-18 he had his first .600+ season in the Thursday league. He has also played in the summer 4 man league, and had seasons of .622, .672, and .686 consecutively.

Dennis has also played in many state and other tournaments over the years, especially in the Milwaukee and Kenosha area. He has won many state shoot off trophies, including 1st place trophies in 2008, 2010 and 2018.

Dennis has been a team captain in the Tuesday night league since 2010, and helps with things in the large (28 teams in 2018) Kenosha league.

Nominated by longtime teammate Ron Buccanero and Scott Peterson

Dennis was originally nominated by Ron Buccanero, who has since passed. The fact that a guy like Ron thought Dennis belonged in the HOF is a strong endorsement. Dennis has had some great averages, including a .686 league average just a few seasons ago. There are only a handful of shooters to ever hit that high in a season. Dennis has also had multiple seasons over .600 and a lifetime of solid averages. The fact that he takes a step when he shoots shows that he figured out what works best for him, since not many do it that way. He definately deserves to be in the HOF in my opinion.
